Conceived at the beginning of 2009 by Fashion Designer, Kathryn Edmonds, Indigo Joker has always strived to tap into the underground desires of the global fashion lover by fusing life-style and design together as one to produce an exceptionally unique and conceptual result in all of its pieces.

Kathryn’s ability to combine her vast knowledge and experience in the observation of world-wide fashion trends with her own intellectual design ethic is what has given Indigo Joker a head-start amongst many of her competitors.

Graduating from a Diploma of Fashion Design in 2007, Kathryn went on to win numerous design awards and her first year out into the notoriously competitive fashion industry saw her nominated as a finalist in the National Retail Association awards which, in turn, sparked the attention of fashion PR, Media and nationwide retailers. This automatically launched her newly born label into the Australian Fashion Industry as a hot ‘new-comer’ who knew how to take risks yet fuse seasonal trends with its own creative flair.

“I am constantly searching for new ways to translate the events of modern day life, into a wearable form of fashion. I believe that as a creatively minded person, inspiration can be taken from so many unpredictable objects, places and memories and it takes a true designer to be able to not only establish this fact, but implement it and create a beautiful garment using this knowledge.”

Kathryn is also one of two in house fashion stylists' for Robina Town Centre on the Gold Coast and has a highly respected reputation and large & fast growing client base.
